The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact worldwide and the health care systems have had to adapt to a new challenging and alarming situation. In this paper, a compartment model that adjusts the hospital dynamics during COVID-19 is presented, with the main objective of making short-term predictions and help inform the ongoing and future response to COVID-19. The tting of this model has been carried out with France and Belgium data, and it has been analyzed in the time period from 17th of March until June 16th. 2019/2020
