The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact worldwide and the health care systems have had to adapt to a new challenging and alarming situation. In this paper, a compartment model that adjusts the hospital dynamics during COVID-19 is presented, with the main objective of making short-term predictions and help inform the ongoing and future response to COVID-19. The tting of this model has been carried out with France and Belgium data, and it has been analyzed in the time period from 17th of March until June 16th.
