We present in this volume the Spanish translation of the passages directly related to the recently born English journalism around 1625, the period in which Nathaniel Butter and Nicholas Bourne had the initiative of printing news in England. There are passages from News from the New World discover’d in the Moon and The Staple of News, by Ben Jonson, The Fair Maid of the Inn, by John Fletcher, Love tricks, or the Schoole of Compliment, by James Shirley, and Whimzies, by Richard Brathwaite.
